Recommendations for Showings:

1) If at all possible, leave the home during showings so that potential buyers aren't nervous. They may spend more time in your home and concentrate more on the business at hand. Their agent will call with any questions they may have,

2) Occasionally, agents may call to "preview" your home. This means that the agent is coming by him/herself. They may be doing this for a client or for themselves for potential future clients or if they have a home "For Sale" in the area. There is no need to leave the home during an agent preview.

3) It is often best to have all lights on and curtains open when showing your home. Also, it is a nice idea to have soft background music playing.

4) To make you rooms appear larger, store items away that not needed and keep only key pieces like beds, sofas etc. The same applies to closets.

5) Keep all animals away and no smoking. Take your pet out and spray each room. This will keep the buyer concentrated on the house and not the odours.

6) Keep the outside of the house well manicured and clean to attract potential drive-by appointments.

7) Inside maintenance and detailing are just as important. First impressions are what the buyer remembers most

8) Open Houses: Don't worry, we'll be at your home a little early just to make sure you have not forgotten any of these suggestions.
